She will be sending it off to a friend that recently lost her dad. Feels good to help others. I had the meeting with the genetics counselor today. I will be moving forward with some genetic screening. Will keep you all posted but that info

I am trying really hard to be choosey about which photos I share of him as his parents don't want too many photos out on the internet. This is our set up at the campground. As you can see we have added a screened in porch. I'm pretty excited about that. We put the boys in there but it doesn't have a

So we have been trying to find some things to keep us occupied. I have read 2 books already! The other night we were out walking and saw 2 Great Horned Owls. I was not able to ID them until I looked up the

read moreI know it has been quite a long time since I have posted anything. I have been being kept quite busy with Avery! On top of that I contracted Covid. My daughter and son-in-law got it and shared the love with me. Luckily we all had pretty mild cases of it and the only thing I have left over now is that I can't smell anything and some congestion that is causing me to cough. We treated the baby

The spikes are not how they are supposed to be and where they join up to the head unit isn't perfect but DONE is better than perfect, right? So my porcupines have rogue spikes. Real life porcupines aren't perfectly symmetrical are they?I'm just happy that I can move on

Then I will need to assemble the quilt. I need to see if I can use the 2 rulers I have to make the porcupine's back so we shall see. Here is what I have done now.For some reason these raccoons reminded me of the

They left it on our picnic

And the "adore" on this one. I always seem to make quite a mess when I paper piece. These two don't seem to mind. In fact this was the view while I was trying to sew. Finn loves to be
read moreI did a few more numbers last night. I had BOTH boys "helping" me. This was my view from my machine. This one is the biggest PITA. He wants to be to the left of my machine, which is were I do my cutting! This is the good boy. He goes right to the "cat quilt" to lay down and keep me company. I got the following numbers finished, 5, 10, and 12. Still need to do
read moreThis morning I got up at 5am like I usually do. I had just put on my underware when I heard a VERY frantic meowing coming from outside. It *sounded* like Finny. How could that be though? Both cats were in when I went to bed. Hubby heard it too and bolted awake, "That's Finny and he's outside!" We both ran downstairs. I got to the back door first and ran outside (in my

She currently lives in an AFC home with really good people. That being said, she fell

I know I talk about my life too but nothing very exciting has been happening there either, LOL. I needed to make a pillow cover for my friend, Traci's, quilt shop (Something Quilty). I made the Tribute Star

I took everything out of the cupboard, cleaned all the shelves, tossed out all expired food and put everything back inside grouped by what they were. I also used a marker to put the expiration on all the canned goods.

I went to the crazy cat house at the end of our street hoping maybe Finn had found his way to that house since she leaves out food and water and shelters for our local stray cat population. No luck. Later in the morning, a man called. He was walking his dog and
